第七章 · 从拨打电话订房到退房收发票,全套酒店英语流程。

酒店是英语口语里"对方语速最慢、最有耐心"的场景之一,因为前台一天接 100 个不同口音的客人,他们已经被训练成"听不懂就再问一遍"。这是练胆子的好场所。整个流程拆为五步:订房、入住、住宿期、客房服务、退房。

步骤 1:订房(电话或邮件)

押金陷阱

大部分美式酒店会预授权(pre-authorize)一笔押金到你的信用卡,金额 50–200 美元/晚不等。这笔钱会冻结而不是扣除,退房后 5–7 个工作日返还。看到信用卡账单上有那笔金额不要慌,用 I see a hold on my card—when will it be released? 询问。

步骤 3:住宿期间——房间问题

这是最考语气的环节。下面按问题严重度排列。
