两类辅音字母组合
英语的辅音组合分两大类：
- 双辅音字母 (Consonant Digraphs)：两个字母合起来发一个音。如
ch读 /tʃ/、sh读 /ʃ/、th读 /θ/ 或 /ð/。 - 复合辅音 (Consonant Blends/Clusters)：两个字母各自发音，但快速连读成一组。如
bl读 /bl/、tr读 /tr/、str读 /str/。
这一章把它们一次讲清楚，让你看到陌生单词的开头就能读对。
双辅音字母 Consonant Digraphs
1. ch — 主要读 /tʃ/

这是中国学习者最容易出错的组合。怎么判断读哪个？
- 实词 (名/动/形/副词) 中的 th 多读清音 /θ/：think, three, mouth, math, both
- 虚词 (代词/介词/连词) 中的 th 多读浊音 /ð/：this, that, these, those, the, they, them, with, though

辨析
breath /breθ/ 名词「呼吸」 ≠ breathe /briːð/ 动词「呼吸」。最后是不是 e 决定 th 是 /θ/ 还是 /ð/，整个元音也变了。
4. wh — 读 /w/ 或 /h/

有意思的规则：wh 后是 o 时读 /h/ (反过来)，其他都读 /w/。记忆口诀："wh + o = h，wh + 其他 = w"。
5. ph — 读 /f/

finger /ˈfɪŋɡə/ 手指 (注意 ng + g)/ŋ/ vs /ŋɡ/
大多数 ng 只读 /ŋ/ (sing /sɪŋ/, hang /hæŋ/)。但有些词中间的 ng 会接 /ɡ/：finger, hunger, longer, English (比较级、ng 在词中)。规律：动词加后缀的 -ing 不读 /ɡ/ (singer /ˈsɪŋə/)；非派生词中部的 ng 多读 /ŋɡ/ (finger /ˈfɪŋɡə/)。
9. 其他常见双辅音

这些是各字母都发音、快速连读的辅音群。常见在词首。
L-blends：bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl
bl- /bl/ black, blue, blow, blood, blink
cl- /kl/ clean, clock, class, climb, close
fl- /fl/ flag, fly, flower, flat, flood
gl- /ɡl/ glad, glass, glow, glove, glue
pl- /pl/ play, plant, please, plus, plate
sl- /sl/ slow, sleep, smile→不算, slide, slipR-blends：br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr
br- /br/ brown, bread, bring, brave, brush
cr- /kr/ cry, crab, cross, cream, crowd

美音中 tr 常听起来像 /tʃr/ (tree → "chree")，dr 像 /dʒr/ (drive → "jrive")。这不是错误，是真实语流的现象。
S-blends：sc, sk, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw
sc- /sk/ scare, scarf, score, scan, scout
sk- /sk/ ski, skip, skin, sky, skate
sm- /sm/ small, smile, smell, smart, smoke
sn- /sn/ snake, snow, snail, sneeze, snap
sp- /sp/ spell, spoon, sport, space, spider
st- /st/ star, stop, stand, stay, story
sw- /sw/ swim, sweet, swing, switch, sweep/s/ 后清辅音不送气
注意：词首 /p t k/ 要送气 (paper, top, key)，但跟在 /s/ 后面就不送气。所以 spy 听起来更像 /sbaɪ/，stop 像 /sdɒp/，sky 像 /sɡaɪ/。这是英语的真实发音规律。

常见错误集中整理
- 把 th 都读成 /s/ 或 /z/：the 读 "ze"，think 读 "sink"。
- kn / wr 把第一个字母读出来：knee 读成 "k-nee"，write 读成 "w-rite"。
- ph 读成 /p/+/h/：phone 读成 "p-hone"，应该直接读 /f/。
- 词尾辅音群省略：list 读成 /lɪs/，next 读成 /neks/。
- tr / dr 读成中文"特儿/德儿"：tree 应该一气呵成。
练习方向
- 每个双辅音字母 (ch sh th wh ph gh ck ng) 各找 5 个例词，每天朗读 3 遍。
- L-blends / R-blends / S-blends 各练 10 词，重点听清前后两音都发出来。
- 找绕口令练习：She sells seashells by the seashore (sh / s)。
- th 专项绕口令：The thirty-three thieves thought they thrilled the throne。
