会议英语:开会

第四章 · 你不需要英语母语水平也能主持会议——你需要的是结构化的句型库。

4.1 一场好会的骨架

无论是 1-on-1、weekly sync、roadmap review,所有职场会议都遵循同一个骨架:

  1. Opening(30 秒)— 寒暄 + 进入议题
  2. Agenda 介绍(1 分钟)— 今天讨论什么
  3. Discussion(主体)— 控场 + 引导发言
  4. Decisions(关键)— 把讨论收敛成决定
  5. Action Items(必须)— 谁、做什么、什么时候
  6. Closing(30 秒)— 感谢 + 下次时间

这本章把每一段配上脚本句型,背下来你下次主持会议就能直接用。

4.2 Opening 开场

心法

开场前 30 秒不是浪费——它给晚到的人加入的余地,给所有人一个心理切换时间。但不要超过 2 分钟,否则会被认为浪费高薪人时。

4.3 介绍议程 Agenda

Here's what I'd like to cover today:

  1. Walk through last week's metrics — 5 min.
  2. Decide on Q4 launch date — 15 min.
  3. Quick risks and asks — 5 min.

4.4 控场 Facilitation

主持会议本质是时间管理 + 发言权管理。最常见的失败:一个 senior 把 30 分钟会议占到 25 分钟,剩下的人只能点头。

Tom, you've worked on similar issues — what would you suggest?
Anyone else want to weigh in before we move on?

“Park”、“Table”、“Sidebar”

这三个动词是控场的瑞士军刀,外企会议里出现频率极高。

4.5 打断与被打断

英语会议文化允许打断,但有礼貌门槛。

4.6 总结与决策 Decisions

这是最容易被中国职场新人跳过的环节。讨论了 25 分钟,会议结束没人知道决定了什么。

// 收敛讨论
So just to summarize where we landed — we're going with option B,
launching Sept 15, with marketing kicking off the week before.

// 确认共识
Does that work for everyone? Any objections? OK, locked in.

// 没有共识时
Sounds like we're not fully aligned. Let me propose a path:
Sarah and I will draft two options by Wed and send to the group
for async vote. Cool?

// 决策权升级
This feels above our level — let me bring it to Sarah for a call.
We'll come back next week with a recommendation.

4.7 Action Items

会议最值钱的产出。每个 action item 必须有三要素:owner、deliverable、deadline。

We'll look into the API issue.@tom: investigate the auth API timeout, post findings in #eng-platform by Wed EOD.
Marketing will help.@priya: draft the launch blog post (3 paragraphs), share with @lei for review by Fri.

Priya:

场景 B:Sprint Retro(45 分钟,团队)

  we should de-scope the export feature.

Manager:
  I'll DM Sarah today. On scope — what's your gut?

You:
  My gut says cut it. We can ship it as v1.1 in two weeks.

You:
  Career-wise — I'd like to start owning more of the platform
